Monthly Meetings and a Special Date

Each month we have a combined youth activity night with our youth and Pastor Kevin's and Pastor Delphin's. We meet the last Friday in the month and enjoy meeting at Immanuel Baptiste

Kerk's building. After a time of games,

the youth hear a message from God's Word

and then have some refreshments.

When the men meet for their monthly meeting, the ladies occasionally come and gather in the kitchen with Cathy for a time of sharing. This past month they began a study through "n VROU NA GOD SE HART (A WOMAN AFTER GOD'S HEART), by Elizabeth George.

During their meeting, the men nearly completed the final revision of the church constitution. Lord willing, Eindhoven Baptiste Kerk will be able to officially constitute in May.

Last Saturday, Lydia and I had a special date which we'd been trying to play for a very long time. The ministries we each have make our getting together a real challenge!

Nearly every Sunday this year we have been thankful for first time visitors who have heard the gospel. Jason's cousin, Gershwin, and his girlfriend, Nishaad, attended two weeks ago when they were in Cape Town for a visit.

Our monthly communion service is held the first Sunday in each month. We generally meet at the Morta's home, but occasionally we have this service in our home.
