The Last Week of the Psalms' Course

"Redeeming the time . . . Ephesians 5:16"

This past weekend the men of Eindhoven Baptiste Kerk made an overnight trip to Genadendal in order to hike up one of the mountains on Saturday morning.  After many rainy winter days, they were very thankful to hike under sunny Cape skies. Here, Tony posed with three of the single men, Jason, Luke, and Mornay.

 The prayer meetings of Eindhoven Baptiste Kerk meet in homes. After songs and prayer requests, Tony shared with the church family a presentation of his ministry in Malawi during July.

On Thursday night, the men took their final exam for the course on the Psalms at Oostenberg Bybel Instituut.

In addition to the course syllabus in both Afrikaans and in English, each man also received a book on the Psalms and one of these booklets containing preaching outlines and introductions for about 110 Psalms.

 

A group photo, taken after the exam, indicates that these students seem,  for the most part, confident that they passed the course!  Unfortunately, a few students were unable to complete the course due to work schedule conflicts. Pray for the next course beginning in September.  Bill Knipe will be the instructor.
