August's Happy Ending!

"The lines have fallen unto me in pleasant places.  Psalm 16:6a"
The reunion was sweet when Tony return to the USA after 7 weeks in Africa.  He brought me a photo of our precious Simpson twins, Sarah and Noah.  His trip was a rich time of teaching laymen and men in ministry in both Malawi and South Africa.  He is eager to return in 2014!

We held a late celebration for both Granddaddy's and Jake's birthdays at lunch the day Tony returned.  Jake birthday is July 24 and Tony's is August 8 and they had missed being able to share birthdays.  Actual shared birthdays are rare blessings for missionary families.

We also celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary late.  We enjoyed a meal at a German restaurant in Helen, GA. In 1980, we celebrated our first anniversary in Helen.
After a brief visit to Tony's family in Georgia, we were able to bring my mother back home to stay with us after four months in hospital, rehabilitation and respite care.
August ended with the celebration of Isaiah's 2nd birthday at a city park in Greenville.  We thank the Lord for the blessing of some precious family times during this furlough.
