"Greet one another with an holy kiss!" II Corinthians 13:12

That is EXACTLY what little 3 year old Ben did when he came through the doors after clearing immigration and customs with his sisters and parents. Even though it was almost midnight and even though he'd not seen me in over a year, he affectionately attached himself to me and won my heart. It was amazing to see how much Abigail, Hannah, Lydia and Ben grew during their furlough. We are happy to have the Eric Grahams back in South Africa to serve another term.
After a few days with us, they were able to get settled back into their home.

The following Sunday, Tony prayed for the Graham family, thanking the Lord for returning them safely to the work in Northpine. Then Tony preached a summary message of the main lessons learned during our year of studying together the Sermon of the Mount. We need a Saviour who can save us from our sin; we need a Teacher who can show us how to be a true worshipper of God; we need a Shepherd who can lead us in safe pastures and protect us from wolves; and we need a King who can rule over our hearts.

After the message about 45 of us enjoyed a meal together as a goodbye to us and a welcome to the Grahams. We pray God's richest blessing on these dear, dear believers whom we hvae grown to love very much.

The work in Eindhoven continues to progress. We thank the Lord for two Bybelklub parents who are attending our services now. We continue to average 20-21 in both our mid-week prayer services and our Sunday services. We regularly have lost people in attendance at both of these services. The photo above was taken at our Christmas Day service. Pray for several who requested prayer for their spiritual state as they are unsure about the destiny of their souls.
After the Christmas Day service, we enjoyed hosting these fellow-missionaries, the Grahams and the Blantons for a Christmas dinner with all the trimming; well, not quite ALL. We missed cranberry salad, since one tin costs R30! Maybe we should have splurged! :-)
Our next blog should include news about our Leadership Camp being held 30 December to 2 January 2010 and also news about the birth of our second grandchild, Noelle Kate, who was due on 26 December! Check back in 2010!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
