Thirteen faithful children from our Bybelklub in Eindhoven worked very hard over the past 3 months to learn their music for a Christmas program which they presented on 6 December in the classroom that we use for the Sunday services of Eindhoven Baptiste Kerk. At their final practice, in spite of the summer heat, they enjoyed trying on their costumes.
That afternoon, Jason and Tony hung curtains that we made for the classroom's 6 windows which previously had been bare.
On Friday, the 4th, several of the young men from the assembly gave the classroom a thorough cleaning and put up the colourful backgrounds.
On Saturday, the 5th, we took the children on a year-end outing to the Tygerberg Nature Reserve, which overlooks the city of Cape Town.
Everyone greatly enjoyed the afternoon
of hiking, games, food
and a gospel lesson, which Jason presented.
The next morning, the ten children who were able to participate in the program were at the classroom an hour early in order to be dressed in costume before their parents arrived. June and I worked hard during that hour to get angels' wings comfortably fitted and tie on shepherds' headdresses securely. Below we are helping Miche,
who asked me on the way home from the outing: "How do you know if God is knocking at your heart's door?" We believe He IS knocking at her heart's door. Pray for her to yield to Christ and be converted.
Thirty-five people attended the program and heard a brief gospel message at the close of the program.
The four parents of Bybelklub children, pictured below, are enjoying biscuits and coffee which were served after the message.
Pray for Rose, Gavin, Anthony and Lillian, who represent 4 households on June and Jeremy's street. Two other parents who attended were Joann and Megan. Megan is the mother of Tammy, Miche, Amber and Sharlize, and she has attended prayer meeting the past 3 weeks at June and Jeremy's home.

They look like they did a great job on the Christmas program! Glad parents did come - what a blessing! The curtains look very nice. And the hike looked like a lot of fun! See you soon!
