The elderly visitor who came to the anniversary service has returned to our services each week.
When Joan and I visited her, Sister Sophia shared how she came to trust Christ as her Saviour when she was 61 years old, over 14 years ago. Her daughter recently visited a service at her mother's invitation.
In January, the Lord brought back across our path, Colinita, a young mother, that Tony and Jason had witnessed to her over a year ago. This past Sunday she attended her first service along with the youngest child.
Last night when Tony and I stopped by the home where she lives, the baby's father told Tony that he would come to church with Colinita this week. We are praying that God will prevent Satan from snatching the Word that is being sown in their hearts. The oldest son, though he cannot yet read,
eagerly poured over the pages of the gospel that Tony and Jason gave them two weeks ago.
Last Friday evening, 16 teens and young adults gathered at our home for an evening of games
and Biblical challenge. Although Jason, Jeremy, Tony and I, along with 3 of our other young people were the only believers present, the other 12 youth listened to the message on reaping what you sow with great attention.
Tony challenged them not to thow away their lives by listening to the Enemy's lie that they can avoid reaping the harvest of seeds of sin they are sowing. Eight of these lost young people attend almost every service, but they still fail to heed the Lord's call to them to yield to Him. Pray especially for Luke, Monique and Carmen who had never before attended any service or function of Eindhoven Baptiste Kerk.
