Several months ago, Eindhoven Baptiste Kerk took their first missionaries. 
Miles and Shirley Schilder are South African missionaries who are planting a church in the community of Pacaltsdorp, which is about a 4 hour drive from Cape Town. Our church family was finally able to meet Miles and Shirley and their daugther, Tanya, when they came to visit us on Sunday, 6 June. 
Miles preached and taught the discipleship class after the service,
while Shirley taught the children's Sunday school,
and was assisted by Tanya. Afterwards the whole church family spent the afternoon with the Schilders at our home for a "bring and braai." While some of the men "braaied" the chicken,
others participated in activities such as Bible pantomime,
darts, croquet and dodgeball.
Everyone enjoyed the time of getting to know their missionaries and learned how to better pray for them and the church in Pacaltsdorp. They are already looking forward to the Schilders' next visit!
