The day before the opening games of the FIFA 2010 Soccer World Cup here in South Africa, Tony and I took the train into Cape Town to determine where our men would be able to distribute the Gospels of John and Romans. We were given a portion of the million gospels that were sent to South Africa from Bearing Precious Seed for distribution during the World Cup.

FIFA World Cup 2010 Outreaches
". . . that I might by all means save some. II Corinthians 9:22"
We were able to walk to Cape Town's beautiful new stadium from the train station
via the Fan Walk shown below.
It was a beautiful clear winter day and the temperatures were mild and pleasant. After lunch in Sea Point, we traveled back to Kuilrivier by train. We were excited to realize that we could place portion's of God's Word into the hands of many foreign and local soccer fans during the 4 + weeks of the tournament being held here.
On Friday our men, along with 3 from the work in Northpine and two from Immanuel Baptiste Kerk, spent several hours in Cape Town giving out well over 1000 Gospels of John and Romans.
Most of the men carried backpacks filled with at least 150 Gospels each.
After the outreach, six of the men came to our home for soup and sandwiches while enjoying the match between England and Algeria. Pray for the next two outreaches on 24 June and 3 July.
