"Suffer little children to come unto me . . . Mathew 18:16"
June 27-30 we held our Winter Bybel Klub, similar to Vacation Bible School. The lessons from the life of Christ taught an average of 35 children each day.

The children's eagerness in participation at review time each day revealed how much they were understanding from the lessons.

Our theme verse was Isaiah 1:18.

Jason, Brandon (seen below),

I shared in the teaching of the lessons on Christ's birth, His temptation and His witness
to Nickodemus and to the Samaritan woman.

At least 20 new children, who live across the street from the primary school, enrolled in our Bible club. Below are eight girls who were very faithful. We trust they will become a part of our Sunday School. We hope to follow up with a visit to each home represented in our club.

The children loved to help with visualized songs. Here they are singing the Wordless Book song.

One of our favourite newcomers was Mogamat. What a privilege to teach this Muslim boy who was so attentive to the message of Christ, the son of God.

Our furlough replacements, Ralph and Mary Oberlin (below), served with us and were able to learn the community they will be ministering in our absence for 10 weeks.

The relays and game time were always fun and exciting. Were you ever in a penquin relay carrying an "egg" on your toe?

What a joy to have the attention of these lovely children the last 4 days before leaving for our "mini" furlough of 12 weeks!! How we miss them!

We held a family "braai" at our home 7 days before we left. The men enjoyed cups of potato soup while manning the barbecue.

We were so pleased to have several parents of faithful Sunday school children join us for the family braai. Trevor and Berenice (below with daughter, Tamsyn, in her arms) enjoyed the evening in our home along with their 3 children.

The women had many laughs watching the children and youth play Uno Attack. The women watching the game are (from left to right) our missionary friend, Katie Graham,;Caitlin's mom, Joanne; and my Muslim friend, Aneesa.
