"To everything there is a season . . . . Ecclesiastes 3:1"
While Peggy, my mentee, was with us, she had the opportunity to share scriptures in Chinese to encourage her newly-made friend, who joined us for our Sunday dinner on our first Sunday in South Carolina.
Our bond in Christ as believers allows both young and old, Asian and American, to all share a table and their love for Christ.
Being my mother's caregiver provides many opportunites to share and serve.
Being on furlough provides me the privilege of reading to our grandchildren as I did to their mother and their aunts were the same ages.
This furlough is providing Tony some firsts . . . joining our son-in-law and oldest grandson at a Greenville Drive's game. . .
. . . . and assembling a swingset for entertaining our youngest grandson for many happy swings.
And on a recent trip to preach at a supporting church in Georgia, Tony got to entertain a great-niece and a great-nephew with rides on a four-wheeler.
Pray for us to redeem the time in all these opportunities. |
