We are delighted to announce that on August 9, we received the first 19,000 of 35,000 tracts, "God's Bridge to Eternal Life," which we completed translating into Afrikaans in May. Here is a picture-journal of the printing process with many thanks to Mrs. Lynda Wagner who works for Majestic Media who publishes this tract. This tract is available in a number of languages, now including, Afrikaans! Mrs. Wagner has been a great blessing to us in this project.

The tracts are almost ready to be cut and shrink-wrapped in plastic in bundles of 25.

Don and Barb Shimmel, who are relocating from Detroit area, kindly saved us many dollars in shipping by transporting 19,000 tracts in their van. Tony went to collect them at Shimmels home in Greenville on Saturday evening.
We enjoyed getting to know the Shimmels on Thursday when they came for cake and coffee.
When visiting a retired missionary on Wednesday to greet her for her 80th birthday, I saw a therapist from South Africa that I met last summer. Providentially, I had one of the new tracts in a ziplock baggie in my purse. After asking her if I remembered correctly that she was Afrikaans-speaking, I was able to share in Afrikaans that I wanted her to have the very first of these tracts just received on Saturday and asked if she would read it and give me her feedback. She gave me a warm embrace and said, "Baie dankie!" Pray that Marilese will contact me after reading the tract!
