On Two Continents Again (May 5 - June 18)

"The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in .  .  .  .Psalm 121:8"
On my return to the USA after 7 weeks there with Tony, the begonias and pansies in my pots were thriving thanks to the diligent watering my neighbour's daughter did for me.
We had tea together with her family shortly after I returned.
On Mother's Day, I took Sunday dinner, including a baked strawberry cheese cake to celebrate the day with Mama at the care facility. We enjoyed the afternoon on the patio out back.
On May 16, several  ladies from our sending church who faithfully visited my mother while I was away, came for a tea/luncheon.  There are over a dozen dear friends who make visiting my mother one of their ministries.

Many on my daily visits to Mama include a visit to Mrs. Shirley who was on the rehab wing with Mama back in February.  We celebrated Mrs. Shirley 92nd birthday in her room with a fresh apple cake with cream cheese icing and fruit cups and tea.  Mrs. Shirley loves to tell about how she was saved as a girl in NY state. Her joyful testimony is a blessing to all her meet her.
On May 24, Bill and Sue Knipe and the children came for Sunday dinner.  We look forward to sharing our next Sunday dinner together in South Africa!  Lord willing, they return in September.
It was a joy to share a room with Ruth Potter and Sarah Morris at The WILDS during our GFA Family Conference in late May. These ladies serve the Lord at Bob Jones Memorial Bible Institute in Manila.  I gave a testimony about what the Lord has been teaching me about praying the "mind of Christ." I want to daily pray: LORD, SATISFY ME in the morning with your loving kindness so that I may sing for joy and be glad ALL MY DAYS! Psalm 90:14"

On Wednesday afternoon, before I had to return to Greenville, three friends and I posed for a photo before trying out the new zipline over the third falls.
Here I am all harneesed up before the ride!
Look closely.  That's me, zipping across the falls taking in the view.  It was great!
Andy and Bing and family will be moving to Tennessee before long.  I was glad to get Bing and children and Shufang over for tea on the sun porch one morning before I returned to South Africa.
The greatest joy of the 7 weeks in the USA was to be able to spend 7 days with the grandchildren and their parents in Tampa.  While there,  Jake had to be seen in the early morning hours of two nights at the ER.  We saw the Lord sovereignty in arranging my schedule to be there during that time. We are thankful that tests have not revealed any serious health issue.
